Hiring an entertainer is a great way to occupy children for a good proportion of your party.  There’s a lot to talk about on this subject and I don’t want to make this article too long.  So it is best to start with a few basic points.  Think about the age of the children.  Younger children would probably prefer a clown.  For older children a magician or disco may be better.

If you know of an entertainer via a recommendation then you are at an advantage.  When starting from scratch.  Try Yellow Pages or Yell.Com and don’t be afraid to ring quite a few to get a feel for there approach to your party.
