What is a Pinata? A Pinata (pronounced pin-yar-ta) is a traditional mexican game used at celebrations. Pinatas and pull pinatas (Pullinis) come in many shapes and sizes and are increasing in popularity. The Pinata is filled with small toys, treats or sweets and the players take turns in trying to hit the pinata and break it open to release the contents. The pull pinata (Pullini) version has ribbons which are attached to a secret door and each player pulls one and hopes that it will release the contents.
